Panama Mission Trip
The annual Panama Mission Trip is traditionally scheduled for December. The details will be added when the trip is scheduled.
Greenville Oaks has worked with the church in El Valle since 2011. The church has grown from a handful of people, who met in homes, to a congregation of over 100 people meeting in their own building. Greenville Oaks has worked hand-in-hand with the church members to serve the El Valle community and neighboring villages. In the past, our group has taught English in the schools; taught the Bible through stories, drama, song, games, and crafts; worked on light construction projects; conducted CPR and First Aid classes; conducted training on teaching children’s classes; and given leadership training in addition to distributing the shoebox gifts.
The monetary responsibility for the trip would include airfare and expenses for two travel days. Greenville Oaks pays for all other expenses for the trip. A deposit of $100/person or $200/family is required when registering for the trip. There are easy ways to request funds and some scholarships are available.
Requirements are a passport, a love of Jesus and a heart to serve. Spanish speaking is not required (translators will be available.)
